Sharp HT-SB400 soundbars

Expanding its current sound bar system range, Sharp Corporation of Australia has launched the 3.1 channel HT-SB400.

Easy to set up, the system offers advanced audio technology and touch panel technology to enhance any home theatre experience.

The slimline and stylish HT-SB400 is designed to simulate surround sound for better home theatre experience. Built for at-home use and ideal for wall mounting, the sound bar houses left and right speakers, centre channel, subwoofer and amplifier in one low-profile unit to complement the latest LCD TV designs.

A newly-designed front panel control uses Touch Panel Technology for the ultimate convenience for extreme ease of use. The HT-SB400 also combines advanced HDSS sound technology with SRS TruSurround decoder, creating a superior multichannel surround sound effect with deep bass and crystal clear high frequency reproduction. A good sound pressure level is created with the Neodynum Speaker System.

For flexibility and simple setup, the sound bar features dual audio inputs, left and right RCA jacks and a 3.5mm sub-mini jack to allow for an additional audio source including an MP3 player. Also included is a subwoofer pre-out for connecting extra active subwoofer and a slim remote control for added convenience, a programmed equaliser and an auto on/off button to save energy. The unit is energy efficient with 0.6W or less power consumption in stand-by mode.
