CEDIA Expo ’09 was overwhelmingly well received and our thoughts turn to next year and to our ongoing commitment to making sure that the show continues to evolve to meet the needs of visitors and exhibitors alike.

The post-Expo period has been one of reflection and consultation for us in Region 1. And, after a complete 360º review, ExCeL London emerged as the preferred location for a clear majority of those canvassed. The CEDIA Board has endorsed this selection, and so I can confirm that the event will return to ExCeL London in 2010 (15-17 June exhibition; 14-17 June training).

Major plans are also afoot to ensure that the show continues to stay fresh, relevant and valuable as the premier annual event for the residential custom installation in 2010 and beyond.

A number of exciting initiatives will be announced over the next couple of months and we are also exploring the possibility of re-branding the event to broaden its appeal to custom installation and design professional audiences.
